SEJARAH KEBERADAAN GONG KEBYAR PEMAKSAN BANJAR WATES,DESA DATAH,KECAMATAN ABANG,KABUPATEN KARANGASEM

Pulau Bali adalah pulau seribu pura,yang tidak lepas dengan adanya upacara. Keberadaan masyarakat hindu di Bali sangat erat kaitannya dengan upacara yang disebut dengan : Panca Yadnya yang terdiri dari :
– Dewa yadnya
– Rsi yadnya
– Pitra yadnya
– Manusa yadnya
– Butha yadnya
Keberadaan Panca yadnya ini harus di dukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang di sebut dengan Panca Lawa,yaitu :
– Mebantenan
– Weda / Mantra
– Gamelan
– Tarian
– Kidung
Dari ke-5 sarana dan prasarana tersebut kami belum mempunyai salah satu dari keberadaan
Panca Lawa yaitu yang disebut dengan gamelan,sehingga kami mempunyai niat untuk mempunyai sarana Panca Lawa tersebut
KEBERADAAN GONG KEBYAR DI PEMAKSAN WATES
Keberadaan Panca Lawa di Bali seperti disebutkan diatas sangat erat hubungannya dengan upacara keagamaan umat hindu di Bali dengan pentingnya hal tersebut dari beberapa bagian Panca Lawa tersebut hanya gamelan yang kami belum punya untuk mendukung kegiatan upacara yadnya yang kami laksanakan di pura pemaksan yaitu kami melangsungkan upacara ngenteg linggih yang kami laksanakan tahun 1989 tapi,sebelum upacara ngenteg linggih tersebut dilaksanakan menurut pengelingsir kami yang bernama I Nyoman Loka,I Wayan Tama yang pada waktu itu memimpin karma di pure pemaksansampai akhirnya dari Beliau mengusulkan bagaimana caranya biar kita mempunyai gambelan gong kebyar,dan juga Beliau mengatakan di dalam forum rapat : bilamana kita menyewa biaya sewa gamelan tersebut sangat mahal. Kemudian kami sepakat sebelum upacara karya ngenteg linggih diadakan/yadnya diadakan, kami sepakat menyewa seperangkat gambelan baleganjur di Banjar Bau. Namun sebelum penyewaan tersebut dilakukan kami mempelajari motif-motif pukulan gong reong dalam baleganjur melalui gambelan rindik dan dalam beberapa bulan kami sudah bisa memainkannya dan waktu upacara berlangsung di pura pemaksan kami ,kami sewa gambelan barungan baleganjur dan kami bisa menyesuaikan dengan adanya perubahan patet yaitu : dari patet selendro ke patet pelog. Meskipun didalam berlangsungnya upacara ngenteg linggih kami masih menyewa seperangkat gambelan gong kebyar beserta penabuhnya namun tidak halnya dengan gambelan baleganjur yang kami bias mainkan sendiri yang dibina oleh seniman alam yang bernama I Made Tuwel yang kebetulan juga Beliau sebagai keliang dinas Banjar Wates,sehingga akhir dari upacara ngenteg linggih kami yang kami laksanakan pada bulan agustus tahun 1989 berjalan dengan sempurna seperti yang kami cita-citakan bersama.
Dengan berakhirnya upacara ngenteg linggih kami pada bulan agustus tahun 1989,kami mengadakan rembug/rapat rutin bulanan yang jatuh pada hari;rabu manis(buda manis adalah hari khusus bagi umat hindu untuk menentukan hari yaitu buda sama dengan hari rabu dan manis adalah merupakan hitungan umat hindu juga yang di sebut dengan panca wara).
Dengan adanya rapat atau sangkepan yang diadakan di pura pemaksan,kami membahas bebara hal diantaranya yaitu;pengeluaran yang sangat minim di dalam pelaksanaan upacara ngenteg linggih yang telah dilaksanakan karna kami menyewa keberadaan gamelan baleganjur tersebut meskipun kami menyewa seperangkat gong kebyar beserta penabuhnya.Dengan adanya pertimbangan tersebut pemimpin yang mempunyai ide untuk membeli gamelan gong kebyar diantaranya;I nyoman Loka,I wayan Tama(almarhum),I made Tuwel(kelian dinas banjar wates waktu itu)semakin gencar mengusulkan pada acara rapat/sangkepan yang di gelar habis upacara ngenteg linggih tersebut.
Pada rapat/sangkepan yang di laksanakan setelah upacara tersebut kami belum mendapatkan kesepakatan di dalam pembelian gamelan tersebut.Anggota kerandan masih banyak yang belum setuju usul yang di ajukan beliau-beliau.Dengan adanya kesepakan belum kami capai,akhirnya kami mengadakan rembug lagi di acara rutin rapat di tiap bulannya hampir kurang lebih dari 1 tahun,banyak pro-kontra dari anggota pemaksan kami,tetapi menyurutkan niat para pemimpin/pengelingsir untuk memiliki gamelan.Waktu demi waktu berjalan,atas asung kertha wara nugraha Ida Sesuhunan di pura maksan akhirnya kami mendapat kesepakatan namun hanya seperangkat gamelan baleganjur,sehinga pada tanggal 16 september 1989 kelian dinas bersama pemangku dadya bedajanan yaitu I Nyoman Mangku Darma berangkat ke desa Belah Batuh gianyar untuk menanyakan harga gamelan baleganjur tersebut,kedua beliau berangkat kesana mempergunakan jasa ojek,yang mempunyai usaha gamelan tersebut bernama bapak Gableran yang sekarang sudah almarhum.sesampainya beliau di tempat penjualan gamelan kemudian di sambut hangat penuh kekeluargaan,beliau di suguhkan kopi asli bali yang hitam pekat dan jaje khas Bali,kemudian baru di mulai menanyakan berapa harga gamelan baleganjur,namun sebelum sempat menanyakan harga pembicaraan beliau di potong oleh bpk Gableran,bahwa kalau bapak punya seperangkat gamelan baleganjur saja nanti rugi;kata bpk Gableran.Karna kemudian hari sudah pasti bpk berniat mempunyai gong kebyar lengkap dan harganya pun sudah pasti akan naik,maka dari itu tolong pertimbangkan dengan matang,apalagi system pembayaran di sini bias di kredit dengan memakai uang muka atau deposit 2/3 dari total harga selebihnya seperti saya bilang bias di angsur perbulan;lanjut bpk Gableran menerangkan kepada beliau.
Berdasarkan keterangan dari keterangan pemilik usaha penjualan gong kebyar maka antara Jro Mangku dan I Made Tuwel berunding,lanjut beliau menyakan berapa harga satu barung lengkap gong kebyar motif pelawah lelengisan.Di dalam suasana hening bpk Gableran menghela napas dengan secara halus penuh kekeluargaan menyebutkan hanya Rp 9.000.000 perbarung,sehingga dari I Made towel sendiri memberanikan diri untuk menyanggupi aka nada pembelian gong kebyar lengkap berkat dari pengertian yang di berikan oleh pemilik usaha tersebut yaitu Bpk Gableran,kemudain mereka melihat-lihat barungan-barungan gong kebyar yang adea di dalam tempat usaha tersebut sehingga keinginan kelian dusun tersebut semakin menggebu-gebu untuk memiliki gamelan lengkap seperti yang di usulkan oleh pemilik usaha tersebut.Bukannya beliau di bohongi dengan adanya usul dari pengusaha tersebut,tapi beliau memikirkannya juga bahwa itu adalah bener adanya,karna keadaan akonomi global dan harga barang pasti akan melonjak naik,sungguh pemikiran yang sangat jenius/brilliant/smart.Waktu sudah menunjukkan jam 12;00,mereka sudah 2 jam lebih mengadakan tawar menawar harga waktu yang mengharuskan mereka pulang dengan harapan di dalam rembug mencapai kesepakatan lagi untuk pembelian gong kebyar lengkap.
Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu,hari buda manis tiba pemaksan kami mengadakan rembug untuk mencapai kesepakatan pembelian gong kebyar yang di usulkan oleh bpk Gableran,antara pesimis dan oftimis di dalam pemikiran para pengelingsir kami waktu itu,karena bisa di bayangkan waktu rembug untuk pembelian seperangkat baleganjur saja mereka susah mencapai kesepakatan apalagi akan merembugkan pembelian yang lebih besar yang sudah tentunya harganya lebih mahal.
Di dalam rapat pertama di lakasanakan,kejadian rembug tersebut bagaikan hari yang akan kiamat,seperti hujan angin,halilintar menggelegar,banjir bandang,banjir air,seperti itu keadaan waktu rapat setelah mendapatkan usul dari pemilik usaha gamelan gong kebyar yaitu bpk Gableran.Tetapi berkat kegigihan dari pada pengelingsir dan juga para pemuka masyarakat dengan tidak punya sikap pantang menyerah yang sudah barang tentunya akan sangat baik untuk di wariskan kepada keturunannya,sehingga rembug demi rembug di laksanakan atas kesabaran para pengelingsir kami dan juga pemuka masyarakat yang ikut mendukung adanya pembelian gamelan gong kebyar tersebut mencapai kesepakatan dengan urunan uang sebesar Rp 50.000 perorang.
Dengan adanya kesepakatan pembelian gong kebyar di dalam penggalian dana di samping juga urunan per kepala keluarga Rp 50.000 perorang juga diadakan system penggalian dana yang di klasifikasikan ada tiga macam cara yaitu
1.sistem urunan per kepala keluarga.
2.sistem dana gantung.
3.sistem yadnya suci.
Di sini akan di jelaskan arti daripada ketiga/definisi ke tiga dari penggalian dana di maksud yang murapakan ide/usul dari kelian dinas banjar wates yaitu made Tuwel,yang di maksud adalah;
1.Urunan perkepala keluarga adalah merupakan iuran wajib bagi anggota pemaksan yang ikut terdaftar di dalam buku catatan anggota kerandan wates/pemaksan wates yang bertempat tinggal di banjar wates di bawah kelian dinas I Made Tuwel.
2.Sistem dana gantung adalah suatu penggalian dana atau anggota kerandan yang ekonominya di anggap mampu harus menyubangkan dana mereka dengan tulus iklhas tidak mengharuskan berapa besar nominal yang harus mereka serahkan ke kelian krandan,tetapi besar jumlahnya di kembalikan lagi ke pendana gantung.
3.Sistem yadnya suci adalah suatu system penggalian dana hampir sama dengan dana gantung tetapi keberadaan yadnya suci ini tidak ada pengembalian kepada pihak yang mendana sucikan atau yadnya encep(dana yang tidak di kembalikan lagi ke pihak yang menyumbangkan dana/tidak ada pengembalian seperti keberadaan dana gantung.)
Dengan kesepakatan yang sudah disepakati oleh anggota kerandan untuk pembelian gong kebyar dengan berbagai macam strategi penggalian dana atas anjuran para pemuka masyarakat maka,pada bulan januari tahun 1991 kelian dinas bersama dengan kelian pemaksan yang baru di lantik I Ketut Swandra dan juga bersama anggota kerandan mendatangi lagi pengusaha gamelan gong kebyar di Belah Batuh dengan menggunakan jasa tukang ojek untuk menuju rumah bpk Gableran.
Di dalam keberangkatan menuju ke pengusaha gamelan memakan waktu di perjalanan kurang lebih 2,5 jam,dan sampailah beliau-beliau di desa Belah Batuh dan pengusaha tersebut sampai lupa dengan wajah kelian dinas wates yang sudah lama tidak datang mengenai pembelian gamelan gong kebyar tersebut,bpk Gableran sampai bilang lupa-lupa ingat karna terlalu lamanya jeda penawaran gong kebyar.Pada akhirnya kami di sambut hangat kembali penuh rasa kekeluargaan,kembali di suguhkan kopi bali pekat hitam yang khas bali,lalu mereka mulai menagih janji harga yang pernah di ucapkan oleh pemilik usaha tersebut.Namun apa daya,harga gamelan tersebut naik tidak seperti yang bpk Gableran bilang waktu dulu,yaitu Rp.9.000.000 perbarung menjadi Rp.12.800.000,sehingga beliau merasa terkejut dengan harga yang sangat drastis naiknya.
Perasaan bingung kembali menghantam beliau-beliau yang datang ke usaha bpk Gableran,karna adanya perubahan harga daripada pembelian gong kebyar tersebut,sehingga dari usul I Made Tuwel mengusulkan instrument yang tidak di ambil di dalam barungan gong kebyar tersebut,diantaranya pengurangan instrument yang tidak di ambil;sepasang kenyur/penyacah,bebende,satu ugal,sehingga kalkulasi harga menjadi Rp.10.800.000,karna belum ada penawaran dari pihak pembeli akhirya mengadakan tawar menawar akhirnya jadi harga gamelan tersebut menjadi Rp.10.600.000.
Kesepakatan yang sudah di capai oleh ke dua belah pihak menjadikan gamelan ini di kirim langsung oleh penjual pada tanggal 01 maret 1991,kemudian beberapa harinya lagi kami mengadakan upacara pemelaspas untuk instrument gong kebyar tersebut.setelah itu kami langsung mengadakan latihan yang langsung di bombing oleh kelian dinas wates,dalam jangka satu bulan kami sudah mendapatkan beberapa macam lagu klasik yang bias kami mainkan waktu ada upacara piodalan waktu itu.Sebelum itu juga kami langsung membentuk organisasi dalam sekehe gong kebyar yang namanya juga usul dari kelian dinas wates yaitu;sekaa gong kebyar Pala Kencana,dimana yang artinya adalahPala adalah hasil,Kencaca adalah emas,jadi Pala Kencana adalahhasil buah pemikiran yang sama seperti emas harganya yang semakin lama semakin naik harganya dan di buru oleh semua.Disini ada pesan dari pengelingsir kami;biar bagaimanapun keadaan kita,kita hrs tetap bersatu demi keutuhan warisan oleh pengelingsir kita;yaitu gong klebyar yang bernama sekaa gong Pala Kencana.
