Tentang Saya
Nama saya Kadek Swartana, saya lahir pada tanggal 21 April tahun 1991, dilahirkan di Pupuan, sebuah desa kecil nan indah yang terletak di kakii gunung Batukaru. Saya anak ke dua dari dua bersaudara, anak dari pasangan I Wayan Kastika dengan Ni Made Rupi. Saya memiliki cita-cita ingin menjadi seniman.
Latar belakang pendidikan, bersekolah dasar di SD N 1 Pupuan, SMP di SMP N 1 Pupuan dan lanjut di SMK N 3 Sukawati, sekarang saya tercatat sebagai salah satu mahasiswa di Institut Seni Indonesia Denpasar, Fakultas seni Pertunjukan, jurusan seni Karawitan.
Kegemaran saya bermain gambelan sudah terlihat saat saya masih duduk di bangku kelas 2 SD. Pada waktu itu saya selalu ikut serta dalam latuhan-latihan di banjar, menkipun hanya sebagai pendengar saja. Pada saat saya duduk di bangku SMP saya mengikuti kegiatan extrakurikuler seni Tabuh. Kemudian saya Melanjutkan sekolah Di SMK N 3 Sukawati mengambil jurusan Karawitan. Berbekal pengalaman tersebut saya melanjutkan kuliah di Institut Seni Indonesia Denpasar.
Semangat yang tinggi untuk mewujudkan sebuah cita-cita mendorong saya untuk mengenyam pendidikan di ISI Denpasar, walaupun latar belakang keluarga kurang mampu, yang pekerjaan orang tua hanya sebagai petani, tetapi saya tetap yakin keterbatasan ekonomi tidak akan menjadi penghalang untuk meraih sebuah cita-cita yang penting kita selalu berusaha, saya yakin saya pasti bisa. Nantinya juga saya ingin mengabdikan diri pada masyarakat untuk melestarikan seni Karawitan Bali.
