Lakon Anggata Duta

Sinopsis :
Peguneman pada babak pertama antara Sri Rama dengan Anggada beserta Fualen, Werdah. Karena Anoman yang diutus oleh Rama Dewa ke Alengkara melaporkan keadaan Dewi Sita sehat-sehat dan juga Dewi Sita masih ttap cinta setia dengan Rama. Laporan Anoman itu dirasakan Rama masih kurang meyakinkan dirinya, sehingga Rama mengurus Anggada ke Alengka mengadakan misi perdamaian sebagai duta dari Sri Rama. Diberikan mandat oleh Rama, Anggada dengan suka cita menerimanya, untuk membalas budi Rama karena ia telah diperlakukan seperti anak sendiri. Dan kemudian mohon pamit, untuk menempuh perjalanan ke Alengkapura.
Di Alengkapura dikisahkan para raksasa sedang melakukan penjagaan ketat, dikarenakan trauma dengan kejadian sebelumnya, yaitu kota Alengka pernah dibakar oleh Anoman. Ketika sedang bertugas berjaga-jaga para raksasa dikejutkan oleh kedatangan seekor kera merah yang bernama Anggada. Peperangan tidak bisa dihindari, para raksasa dengan ganas menyerang Anggada, begitu juga sebaliknya. Namun pertempura akhirnya diberhentikan dengan kedatangan Rahwana. Rahwana mendekati Anggada dan menanyakan maksud dari kedatangannya ke Alengka. Anggada diajak ke balai paseban agung. Anggada memperkenalkan diri dan menceritakan dirinya adalah anak dari Subali. Seketika itu juga Rahwana menangis dihadapan Anggada. Rahwana berakting sedih guna mengelabui Anggada, dan kemudian bisa diperalat. Anggada disanjung, diperlakukan dan dijamu dengan baik, diberi makanan yang enak-enakserta minuman keras dan didampingi perempuan-perempuan cantik, untuk membuat Anggada menjadi linglung dan hilangnya keseimbangan pikirannya. Disaat Anggada mabuk, hilanglah kesadarannya Rahwana memfitnah dengan membuka tabir kematian ayahnya yaitu Subali yang dibunuh oleh Rama dan Sugriwa. Namun hasutan-hasutan itu membuat semangat Anggada membara dendamnya untuk kembali bermusuhan dengan Rama. Karena dibakar amarah Anggada berubah menjadi raksasa besar yang bernama Kalantaka. Bersama anak Rahwana yang bernama Megawangsa dan beberapa pasukan raksasa pergi ke Pancawati (tempat perkemahan Rama) menyerbu pasukan wanara yang di pimpin oleh Rama Dewa.
Anoman dan pasukan kera yang sedang menunggu kedatangan Anggada menjadi kalang kabut. Anggada dan Kulantaka serta beberapa pasukan raksasa kemudian menyerbu Pancawati. Pertempuran amat dahsyat, tidak bisa dihindari. Anoman menjadi heran melihat raksasa besar itu tidak bisa dikalahkan. Kemudian Anoman meneliti merenung dengan memakai Kuku Pancanaka miliknya. Dan akhirnya tahulah Anoman bahwa Kalantaka itu adalah Anggada. Anoman menyadarkan Anggada dari kekeliruannya, yang telah diperbudak oleh Rahwana. Ketika itu juga Anggada kembali bergabung dengan pasukan wanara untuk menyerang pasukan raksasa, dan membunuh anak Rahwana yaitu Megawangsa.
Alur : Maju, longgar, ganda
Alur maju : Cerita ini berurutan dan berkesinambungan secara kronologis dari tahap awal sampai akhir cerita.
Alur longgar : Karena jikalau cerita ini dalam satu adegan salah satunya dihilangkan tidak akan mengganggu keutuhan sebuah cerita.
Alur ganda : Karena cerita ini memakai lebih dari satu tempat
Tema : Tema dari lakon Anggada Duta kalau dilihat dari strukturnya yaitu bertemakan tegakkan keadilan dan musnahkan keangkaramurkaan.
Amanat : – Jangan mudah terpancing oleh kata-kata manis yang akan mengakibatkan tenggelam ke lembah kejahatan.
– Jangan mengambil keputusan ketika sedang mabuk dan emosi serta bingung
Penokohan :
Setting : – Perkemahan Rama (Pancawati)
– Alengka
Nilai Yang Bermakna / Terkandung
Cerita Anggada Duta ini mendidik kita agar bisa dalam melakukan sesuatu hendaknya didasari oleh berbuat selalu hati-hati dan waspada akan kemungkinan-kemungkinan yang akan terjadi.
Kesimpulan
Cerita ini menguraikan perjalanan Anggada sebagai duta (utusan), dikarenakan Anggada diperdaya oleh Rahwana, Anggada bermusuhan dengan Rama dan beperang melawan pasukan kera, akhirnya kembali bertempur melawan pasukan Rahwana dan dapat dikalahkan.
