    Simbal adalah suatu alat musik yang fungsinya untuk memberikan  aksen-aksen atau tekanan perubahan dalam musik serta menandai bagian – bagian  yang berbeda dari sebuah lagu. Simbal merupakan instrumen yang dikatagorikan sebagai alat musik yang ritmis dan keras. Terinspirasi dari instrumen reong, penata mencoba untuk membuat suatu garapan musik kontemporer dengan cara mentransfer pola – pola pukulan atau cara memainkan instrumen reong ke dalam instrumen ceng – ceng atau simbal yang diberi judul  “ Melodi Simbal “

Adapun aspek – aspek yang mendukung pementasan garapan Melodi Simbal ini yaitu apek Lighting dan aspek Sound System.

1. Lighting

Melihat dari lighting dalam dalam pementasan garapan ini  Pencahayaan samping kiri,  kanan dan bagian belakang sangat redup. Sehingga kuramg begitu jelas di lihat dan efek- efek cahayanya kurang.

2. Sound Sytem                                                

Melihat dari sound system dalam pementasan garapan ini suara gong kurang terdengar jelas, suara ceng- ceng pada saat menggunakan teknik pemukulan di lantai kurang begitu jelas terdengar Dan suara kendang kekrumpungan kurang begitu jelas terdengar
