Video Choir ISI Denpasar

Paduan suara atau kor (dari bahasa Belanda, koor) merupakan istilah yang merujuk kepada ensembel musik yang terdiri atas penyanyi-penyanyi maupun musik yang dibawakan oleh ensembel tersebut. Umumnya suatu kelompok paduan suara membawakan musik paduan suara yang terdiri atas beberapa bagian suara (bahasa Inggris: part, bahasa Jerman: Stimme). Paduan suara biasanya dipimpin oleh seorang dirigen atau choirmaster yang umumnya sekaligus adalah pelatih paduan suara tersebut. Umumnya paduan suara terdiri atas empat bagian suara (misalnya sopran, alto, tenor, dan bas), walaupun dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak ada batasan jumlah suara yang terdapat dalam paduan suara. Selain empat suara, jumlah jenis suara yang paling lazim dalam paduan suara adalah tiga, lima, enam, dan delapan. Bila menyanyi dengan satu suara, paduan suara tersebut diistilahkan menyanyi secara unisono. Paduan suara dapat bernyanyi dengan atau tanpa iringan alat musik. Bernyanyi tanpa iringan alat musik biasanya disebut sebagai bernyanyi a cappella. Bila bernyanyi dengan iringan, alat musik pengiring paduan suara dapat terdiri atas alat musik apa saja, satu, beberapa, atau bahkan suatu orkestra penuh.Untuk latihan paduan suara, alat pengiring yang digunakan biasanya adalah piano, termasuk bahkan jika pada penampilannya digunakan alat musik lain atau ditampilkan secara a cappella. Dalam paduan suara ISI Denpasar anggota-anggotanya terdiri dari beberapa mahasiswa yang telah lulus di seleksi. Dalam hal ini paduan suara ISI Denpasar mendapat kesempatan untuk menunjukkan kebolehannya diajang Pesta Kesenian Bali yang ke XXXIII yang bertempat di Gedung Kesirarnawa yang di dampingi dengan orkes kroncong Pesona Dewata Denpasar. Dalam pementasan ini koor ISI Denpasar membawakan 5 buah lagu diantaranya; Pesta Kesenian Bali, Pulau Bali, Enggung, Janger dan Bungan Sandat.

Ada beberapa hal yang perlu saya komentari dari video Choir ISI Denpasar yaitu dari aspek teknik pengambilan gambar, lighting (tata lampu), dan sound sytem.

Pertama, dalam hal teknik pengambilan gambar, memang sudah cukup baik sehingga semua yang terlibat dalam Choir tersebut kelihatan dengan jelas.

Berikutnya, dalam hal lighting atau tata lampu sudah sangat baik. Namun pencahayaan pada bagian pojok kiri dan kanan masih kurang sehingga tampak redup. Seharusnya pencahayaan di pojok kiri dan kanan di buat merata agar pementasan Choir tersebut dapat dilihat dengan jelas oleh penonton.

Terakhir, dalam hal sound system juga sudah sangat baik. Antara suara bass,tenor, sopran, dan  alto sudah terdengar cukup jelas (balance).
