Antara TKMDGI dan Bidik Misi

Dari awal saya tidak menyangka jadi kayak gini karena saya mendapatkan Beasiswa Bidik Misi yang katanya: ”Kalau ada kekurangan biaya perkuliahan, biaya kampus yang tanggung”. Dari awal kuliah saya harus punya Kamera DSLR, yang harganya 8 jutaan, jadi saya membeli Kamera DSLR itu. Kamera itu saya beli dicicil dengan Beasiswa Bidik Misi yang saya dapatkan uangnya 3 bulan terlambat dari jadwal. Beasiswa itu sudah habis untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kampus saya, terutama untuk membeli alat-alat untuk mengerjakan tugas dan membayar cicilan kamera. Saya bersyukur masih bisa makan walaupun cuma 2 kali sehari dengan lauk Telor Rebus 1 buah saja selama 1 Bulan lebih. Saya menunggu uang beasiswanya cair, mungkin terlambat 3 bulan lagi seperti yang dulu.

Akhir-akhir ini ada program TKMDGI (Temu Karya Mahasiswa Desain Grafis Indonesia), yang tentu saja biaya dikeluarkan oleh Mahasiswa sebanyak ± 1,5 jutaan dan sertifikat program Ini menjadi syarat TA (Tugas Akhir) perkuliahan. Saya sebagai orang yang pas-pasan yang ingin meningkatkan taraf hidup keluarga, saya tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa. Uang beasiswa sudah habis buat mencicil tunggakan Kamera. Saya kira dengan dapat Beasiswa Bidik Misi, saya tidak membayar apa2 lagi, tetapi ternyata saya salah. Jadi saya tidak dapat mengikuti TKMDGI ke Bandung bersama teman-teman yang lainnya karena tak ada biaya. Sesekali saya bertanya pada diri sendiri: “Apakah saya bisa mengikuti TA walau saya tidak mengikuti TKMDGI?”

Akhir kata, mudah-mudahan saya tidak dikeluarkan dari kampus karena tulisan yang saya buat ini, saya ucapkan terimakasih yang sebesar-besarnya karena sudah disediakan Fasilitas Blog untuk saya. Terimakasih…
